I have been to the Hotel California three times! Love it and Todo Santos!

Why are the Eagles bothering with this frivolous lawsuit? Don’t they have enough money?

The Eagles are one of my favourite bands by the way.

This is just ridiculous. Great piece you guys wrote pointing out the hilarious hypocrisy on display here. The Hotel California is a local treasure. Don Henley would sue a rock for not rolling.

In other news Don Henley has sued his cat for looking at him with Lyin’ Eyes. Henley asserts that his feline, Mr Desperado, has been Living Life In the Fast Lane, rarely making it home before Tequila Sunrise. Mr Desperado released a comment through his attorney stating that, I’ve given Don The Best of My Love” over the past 6 years” adding “I Can’t Tell You Why he’s so upset”. “I thought Love Would Keep Us Alive but I guess there’s gonna be a Heartache Tonight.” Mr Desperado claims he’s Already Gone from from Mr Henley’s mansion and thinks there’s already a New Cat in Town.

After many years of knowing about Todos Santos, I finally got to go there on a bus trip from Cabo. Loved going to hotel California and having a great lunch. Sure, many of us want to believe this is the place the Eagles had visited and inspired their song. Places and experiences is what artists draw on to create their art. As I understand it now, Todos Santos is going to become a tourist mecca. Too bad. The small village and quiet streets are exactly what I look for when traveling. I think Todos Santos was where the original Baja 1000 was the turning point before heading to La Paz and the finish. I think the Eagle’s lawsuit is total B.S, but there’s some ambulance-chasing lawyer behind it, looking for a payday. SAD. Eagles, STOP this nonsense!
p.s. Loreto is still undiscovered, and a fun, relaxing place.

Love this article and totally agree. The lawsuit is a joke. I have never been to Todo Santos or Hotel California but it is on my list to do soon! Hoping this just goes away as it is so unfounded!

I haven’t been on Hotel California website but I don’t see how the US can control a Mexican business. The Eagles claim that their song is being used to promote this business. SO WHAT! I haven’t heard of Rolex or Oakley suing Mexico citizens either. Get over yourselves boys

There’s no connection to your Hotel and the song, Hotel California. I’ve been there. The lobby rang out, “Hotel California” the whole time I was there over the speakers, making me think The Eagles had something to do with it. Artist do get inspired by everything in life and that should not be sued. Do you think God is gonna sue U2 for writing, “In God’s Country?”

What an incredible waste of time and energy that could be focused on something much more meaningful! I’m an Eagles fan, but I do believe this really is insulting to anyone who has ventured inside the fabulous Hotel California. My first trip to Todos Santos was over 20 years ago, and I was delighted to sit across the street tasting some of the very best margaritas and Mexican food anywhere! While many things have changed in Todos (so what else is new?), the name on your beautiful hotel must NOT be challenged or changed due to some frivolous need to be important! Perhaps you could invite the Eagles to come see for themselves what the Hotel California is all about. Forty lashes to the Eagles!
