Javier Reynoso started Gordo Lele in 1992 with family recipes and his love for music. The original location was in a small pie shaped building at the corner of E. Zapata and Vicente Guerrero. In 2008, Gordo Lele moved to its new and current location that is situated on Matamoros Street next to Los Milagros Hotel.
Javier focuses on providing the best tacos and tortas in Los Cabos, with added entertainment you can’t find anywhere else. Gordo Lele restaurant is a tribute to Javier’s love for music which includes Frank Sinatra, Elvis and what he’s most famous for, The Beatles. He’s been dubbed the 5th Beatle to many members of the Gordo Lele family. Many photos of his family and friends from all around the world decorate the walls along with many Frank Sinatra, Elvis and The Beatles memorabilia.
Javier doesn’t let his singing take away from the quality of food. The food rates highly on Trip Advisor, Trappers List and from all his patrons. The ingredients are bought fresh and prepared daily. While doing this, Gordo Lele’s still offers the largest portion sizes for your peso! You will not be disappointed!
