Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge

There are plenty of people with a high degree of skill at specific water sports, but very few with the all-around nautical skill set to call themselves a “waterman.” Former pro surfer Tim Curran and adventure company Mansa Vida are sponsoring a brand new event to celebrate and identify the best of this rare breed. The first Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge premieres this July in Los Cabos, and features five distinct competitions involving swimming, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, prone paddling and spearfishing.
