Baja Shakespeare Festival

For nearly 20 years, Baja Sur’s beautiful East Cape has welcomed visitors for fun-filled theater twists on cultural classics…often but not always Shakespeare. This year’s selection, Snow White and the Seven Mariachis, is obviously not based on Shakespeare,  but does reference Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and includes a few Macbeth style witches.  It also features live music and a little bit of local folklore. The highly anticipated theater production will be held during consecutive weeks at Hotel Buenavista Beach Resort. Tickets are $20 each.
