Event Details

November 3rd:

Ironman premiered locally in 2013, as Los Cabos became the second Mexican site (after Cozumel) to host an Ironman series triathlon event. In the years since, however, the event has been shortened to a half-triathlon, or what is commonly known as a 70.3. That number refers to the combined miles required to complete the three-part competition: a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile cycling leg, and then a 13.1 mile run. This year’s race, scheduled for November 3rd, will again showcase the area’s picturesque mix of mountain, desert and Sea of Cortés vistas, as well as offering 40 coveted qualifying spots for the 2020 Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Taupo, New Zealand.
