La Vendimia Wine Festival at Esperanza

August 20th:  Vendimia means harvest in Spanish, and each year in August, Las Fiestas de la Vendimia, or the Wine Harvest Festival, is held in Valle de Guadalupe, in the heart of Baja California’s wine country. There’s no wine harvest in Baja California Sur, by contrast, but the seasonal sipping of new vintages is still being celebrated, most notably by Los Cabos tourist corridor based luxury resort Esperanza, which will host its own wine themed dinner festival on August 20. The $95 per person ticket price includes a welcome cocktail, charcuterie and cheese boards, a family style dinner and plenty of regional wine tasting opportunities.
